Xavier University Food Advocacy Training and Education (XULA F.A.T.E.) program is a food policy leadership training that develops leaders capable of guiding change within their communities and advocating for their food needs. With the leadership of Dr. Megan Knapp and New Orleans FPC, Xavier students discuss the local food system and food policy, learn from local food advocates, education and professionals, advocate for campus wide food access programs, spread awareness on college hunger on and off campus, and engage with local policy makers.

Listen to the Your Lived Experience is Enough episode of the Be loud podcast which features Sean Benton and Meah Poret sharing their reflections on how college students can advocate for food justice.
