  • Use as you wish!

Go through questions on Proof of Concept and provide feedback:

  • Ask about are they using CACFP and how many snacks are being served. Are they buying/incorporating local into snacks/meals?

  • Make sure we are gathering and sharing enough information but show you can do Farm to ECE even if you are working towards local procurement. 

  • Can we assume that they know what we mean when we say Farm to ECE or do we need a definition? - hopefully those we are collecting from will know what it is and as we share more will understand the work they are doing is Farm to ECE

  • Volunteering, community support and parent engagement- make sure we have a question/highlight about this

    • Ask about the approach

After the Children's Coalition, who next? Who should be our Proof of Concept Centers?

  • Let’s Be Healthy Centers? 

    • Decide next meeting

Objective 2: Plan and implement at least six annual promotional activities:

  • Sometime in October for the first event

    • Satsuma peel? Week of October 23

    • FPAC to work on flyers and communications 

    • Make sure we can connect centers to satsuma Farmers

      • Please let FPAC know if you are interested in helping with these tasks!

  • Send out email about WG and the Farm to School Conference 

Strategic Plan

  • Will be on FPAC website and transferred to PDF to share 

    • Ashlynn to send logo to add

  • September 12th at 1pm

  • Work with Cindy on Proof of Concept Highlight

  • If you have a center in mind, email Elisa or Haley

  • Work with Crystal on Great Satsuma Peel for ECE’s

  • Next meeting we will go over more details for Satsuma Peel

  • Next meeting we will try to pick a new site

  • Talk through next promotional event that is more educational based on what Farm to ECE is
