This year the New Orleans Food Policy Advisory Committee (FPAC) is participating in #GivingTuesday. Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement on December 3 (the Tuesday after Thanksgiving) encouraging individuals and organizations to give the gift of time, donations, help or your voice.

By donating on #GivingTuesday to FPAC, you will directly impact the local food system. Contributions will go towards administrative and production assistance as well as implementation of programs such as Farm to Early Childcare and Education (ECE), and the Eat Local Challenge. FPAC also works to shape public policy by holding courageous conversations, gathering data through survey outreach, generating report findings to city, state, and federal level governments, and much more. FPAC is the official advisory body to New Orleans City Council for food and agriculture.

Please consider making a donation of any amount to the New Orleans Food Policy Advisory Committee this #GivingTuesday to ensure we can continue to make our mark on the local food system! FPAC is a 501(c)(3) organization and can provide a donation acceptance letter upon request.
